FREDERICK -- The Frederick County Teachers Association has announced its endorsements for state and county offices.
Union members chose candidates based on their support for public education and their desire to work with educators for the benefit of all children in Frederick County Public Schools, said FCTA President Nancy Dietz.
District 3 Senate -- Del. C. Sue Hecht (D-Dist. 3 ) of Frederick
District 3 House of Delegates -- Galen Clagett (D) and *Richard L. Stup (D)
District 3B House of Delegates -- Frederick County Commissioner Richard B. Weldon Jr. (R)
District 4 Senate -- Frederick County Commission President David Gray (R)
District 4A House of Delegates -- Valerie Moore Dale (D) and Dick Franklin (D)
Board of Education -- *Daryl Boffman and Bonnie Smith Borsa and Michael Schaden.
County commissioner -- Bonnie Bailey-Baker (D), Richard Floyd (D), *Jan Gardner (D), Bruce Reeder (D) and George Smith (D).
