Michelle Anne Swanson and Adam Patrick Hack were married May 30, 2009 at The Evergreen Museum & Library in Baltimore. Judge Ron Karasic officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Christine Swanson of Mount Airy and the groom is the son of Marjorie Hack of Staten Island, N.Y. and the late David Hack. Attending to the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Jennifer Swanson of New York, N.Y., and bridesmaids Meredith Carr, Ashley Hoover, Sarah Petrella, and Pamela Lowry.
Attending to the groom as best man was his brother Todd Hack of Staten Island, N.Y., and groomsmen, brother of the groom Charles Hack and friends Michael Brown, George Manas and Jordan Stewart.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of South Carroll High School and 2005 graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Curtis High School in Staten Island, N.Y., and a 2003 graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He is currently pursuing a Master's of Business Administration at The University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business.
