The Charles H. Flowers boys' soccer team defeated Suitland, 3-0, on Monday.
Babafemi Feyisetan opened the scoring for Flowers on an assist from Kyle Majors.
Noelle Reyes followed with an unassisted goal, and Mitchell Dieudonne scored with an assist from Dhoruba Glover.
Goalkeeper Jambari Campbell registered the shutout.
Falcons fall to 2-3
The Central High School football team dropped to 2-3 overall this season following a 12-6 home loss Friday against Crossland.
Crossland tailback D'Angelo Gantt Jr. led the way for Crossland with 117 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 21 carries.
Gantt's first TD came with 3 minutes, 43 seconds to play in the first quarter. Central tied the game at 6-6, getting its only points on a one-yard touchdown run with six seconds left in the second quarter by quarterback Demetrius Davis. Gantt scored again on a three-yard run with 6 minutes, 12 seconds left in the game.
Gordon Crossland led the Central defense with 12 tackles and Richard Pearson added 10 tackles.
