Tech Road proposal is bad planning
|
The proposal to build an interchange at Tech Road and U.S. 29 is ill-advised. ("County to consider safety fixes to roads," Sept. 23). It will only create more congestion and accidents and, it's too close to the Randolph/Cherry Hill roads interchange.
Industrial Parkway was designed for heavy traffic to connect the two-plus square mile area of government and industry. Tech Road was not.
To build an interchange at Tech Road is an example of not adopting well-thought out, long-range planning to provide access to a high volume traffic area.
