On October 17, Florida defeated Michigan State for the second time this year, 33-17 in Junior Division play. Obediah Noel paced the winners with 10 points, while teammate Noah Chaney added six. Michigan State was led Ryan Woodward's with seven points. Demarco Saunders and Jerome Love tallied five points each.
Catocling bounced back from their first loss of the season on Oct. 10 with a convincing 43-9 win over Notre Dame.
Josh Slaughter posted 13 points for the victors, while Jackson Steinly chipped in with 10. Notre Dame's Patrick Davis had five points, while Cody Wilcox scored four.
The Raptors gave the Heat their first loss of the season, 57-47 in senior league action. Shiheed Bowie and Garrett Rozich torched the Heat for 25 and 20 points, respectively. Craig Johnson poured in a game-high 26 for the Raptors, while Dante Blackwell contributed eight.
In the Bucks 74-46 victory over the Grizzlies, Connor Corbitt tossed in ?? points for the winners, including five 3-pointers. John Bush added 15. The Grizzlies were led in scoring by Stephen Burke, who totaled 19. Mike Skvorak fired in 15.
Taylor Kabrick rung up 19 as the Jazz downed the Flames, 64-36. Deon Maddox added 16 for the Jazz. Meagan Tilyhman's 12 points led the Flames, while Octavia Scott added eight.
Nathan Monroe and Connor Waite scored a touchdown each as the FYFL JV Colts downed the Lions, 14-0 on Oct. 13.
Monroe reached the end zone on a 45-yard carry, while Waite dashed in from the 1. Sam Myers anchored the offensive line, as the Colts gained over 150 yards in total offense. Sheel Jacob and Jamal Favors also added punch to the Colts running game.
Julio Ortega tackled a Lions' ball-carrier for a safety, and eight other players recorded tackles; including stalwarts Isaiah Dowery and Kolby Blake. Cornerback Joe Rezash played textbook defensive football against the run and pass. Matthew Dmuchowski recovered a fumble and Austin Myers grabbed an interception.

The Frederick Rangers will offer tryouts on Sunday, November 1 at 2 p.m. for the U14's and 3:30 p.m. for the U15's baseball teams at the Spring Ridge Elementary School fields.

The Metro American Volleyball Club will hold tryouts for their 14 Travel, 14 North 13/12U teams on Sunday, Nov. 1 and Saturday at Ritchie Elementary School in Rockville.

The Dynasty 1993 Premier girls team is looking for three talented club players to complete its roster.
Dynasty is an Under-16 girls team preparing to compete in college showcase tournaments for the 2009-2010 season.
