The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs will sponsor a fundraising concert benefiting "Our Neighbors in Need" from 7-9:30 p.m. Friday at the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Ave., Frederick.
The event will be headlined by returning artist, Lisa Fenstermacher, who performed at last year's event with overwhelming reviews.
Ellicott City's Fenstermacher has three studio recordings, the latest titled "Pivot." Her song "Peace," co-written with producer Michael Sauri, won a Silver Award at the 25th Annual Mid Atlantic Song Contest, while two other songs from "Pivot" received Honorable Mention out of over 900 entries from around the world.
The "Pivot" CD was nominated for a WAMMIE award by the Washington Area Music Association.
Fenstermacher's style and music crosses over generational and denominational lines, while a powerful combination of faith, grace and persistence continues to open doors and direct her steps.
A free will offering will be collected during the concert. For more information, call 301-631-2670. Visit www.thereligiouscoalition.org. Visit www.lisafenstermacher.com.
