The LUYAA JV Federal Football Team won the Western Howard County Invitational Tournament on Saturday November 14, 2009.
The Hawks defeated Damascus with a score of 6 0, as Dean Taylor rushed for the winning touchdown in the third quarter. LUYAA defeated Sykesville and Winfield en route to the title game.

The spring 2010 Urbana Jr. Hawks 11-year old baseball team will hold travel evaluations at Araby Park on Sunday, Nov. 22 from 11-1 p.m.

The Western Howard County (WHC) Renegades Under-12 baseball team is seeking players to fill the Maryland Amateur Baseball Association Division 1 team and the newly formed Division 2 team.

The Dynasty 1993 Premier girls team is looking for three talented club players to complete its roster. Dynasty is an Under-16 girls team preparing to compete in college showcase tournaments for the 2009-2010 season.

Central Maryland Futsal League will start its first league session in December and its second in January for ages 5 and up.

Team registrations are now being accepted for the 10th Annual Field Hockey Extravaganza scheduled for Monday, Jan.18 in Hampstead.
Girls competition will be offered for the following age levels, Under-16 (JV), U-18 (Varsity), U-12 (grades 5-6) and U-14 (grades 7-8). The tournament will feature round-robin competition, with all teams being guaranteed a minimum of three 24-minute games. The deadline for guaranteed registration is December 31.
